Project Notes: Alfriston Road, Wandsworth – Kitchen 

The Brief: 

For this bright and airy residential project in Wandsworth, our goal was to create a sleek, minimalist kitchen that maximized the natural light from the expansive garden doors. The client wanted an open-plan layout that felt modern and uncluttered, providing a clean visual transition between the cooking and dining areas. 

The Design: 

We utilized Miton Cucine cabinetry to achieve a precise, Italian-engineered aesthetic. The kitchen features a dual-textured approach, pairing a crisp light kitchen finish on the island with a warm, horizontal wood grain on the tall cupboard units. To maintain the streamlined look, we opted for a handleless profile throughout. The worksurface is a premium sintered stone, chosen for its slim profile and high durability, providing a subtle contrast against the wood textures. Soft pendant lamps provide practical and stylish lighting.

The Result: 

This kitchen is a masterclass in modern, functional design. By balancing the warmth of the wooden units with the cool, clean lines of the light island, we’ve delivered a space that feels both welcoming and architecturally sharp. This Wandsworth home now features a high-performance modern kitchen that perfectly suits a contemporary family lifestyle. 

Project Notes: Alfriston Road, Wandsworth – Cloakroom 

The Brief: 

As part of the comprehensive renovation on Clonmel Road, this small cloakroom was designed to be a high-impact, character-filled space. Our goal was to create a memorable “jewel box” effect that would leave a lasting impression on guests, blending bespoke joinery with bold textures. 

The Design: 

We embraced a bold colourful aesthetic, cladding the walls in rich, emerald-green metro tiles. Their glossy, hand-finished texture provides a dynamic backdrop that brings incredible depth to the compact space. To elevate the design, we added opulent gold hardware throughout, from the taps to the towel rails and the spherical wall light. Finally, integrated wooden storage makes clever use of the space whilst adding a warmth to the design. 

The Result: 

The finished cloakroom proves that smaller spaces can successfully showcase bold design. By carefully balancing the vibrant green tiles with luxurious gold accents and natural wood elements, we’ve delivered a tailored sanctuary for this Wandsworth home.
